Hello Nelson,

Vertigo is a sensation of dizziness or loss of balance, often described as feeling like you or your surroundings are spinning or moving.
It can be caused by a variety of factors, including inner ear problems, motion sickness, medication side effects, or neurological conditions.
In aviation, vertigo can be particularly dangerous as it can affect a pilot's ability to maintain control of the aircraft. Pilots can experience vertigo when their inner ear balance system becomes confused by conflicting sensory inputs, such as when flying in clouds or low visibility conditions. This can cause them to feel like the aircraft is rolling, pitching, or yawing when it is not, which can lead to disorientation and loss of control.
